About Coach

I've always been passionate about competing in any sport… and for most of my life, I did just that, playing basketball competitively for both my school and in a separate league. I first found CrossFit when my parents started bringing me to the gym when I was younger, and I quickly fell in love with it. I enjoyed being able to come into the gym every day and leave as an improved version of myself both physically and mentally.

Turning Point

Eventually, through CrossFit, I found a new passion for Olympic Weightlifting. Olympic Weightlifting is my joy because there is always something to work on - no lift is ever perfect, and that's my favorite part! Making minor adjustments and gaining a new perspective on what I want my lifts to look like, is what makes this sport so enjoyable.

Motivation & Passion

Not even a year into training, the pandemic forced a lot of people into quarantine. During this time I lost a lot of motivation to continue working out, and eventually, I quit for about a year. Quitting was one of my biggest regrets, so now that I'm back I make sure that no matter what happens, I always stay consistent. Getting back in the gym, I eventually worked my way back up! In 2022 I represented Eminence Barbell Club in the 2022 Junior Nationals held in Las Vegas, Nevada as a 55kg lifter. I had a great time and put up a 65/95/160 kg total. My current goals are to increase my body weight to 61kg and get a 300 Sinclair.
