We love Maygen's energy and determination at CrossFit Eminence!! And with her gymnastics background and work that she has put in with strength over the years with us, she has been making incredible strides towards her fitness goals. Maygen was very enthusiastic when she signed up for our 2022 Summer Shred Nutrition Challenge, and throughout the program she didn't hesitate to ask questions and learn. She checked in each week, and had a lifestyle change as she adhered to her appropriate servings of veggies, lean protein, whole grain carbs and healthy fats - even when she went out to restaurants and bars with her friends and family! She also celebrated her birthday during the 12 weeks! Maygen lost a total of 22 pounds during this challenge. We are super proud of her. Great job, Maygen!!
A lifestyle change
I can’t say enough about how happy I am that I participated in the CrossFit Eminence 12-week Summer Shred Program. And I cannot believe my results! They are incredible!! I went into this challenge just wanting to get healthier. Little did I know how much this would teach me. I look at food in a whole new way now, and I learned what my body really needs. I also learned about discipline that I didn’t know I had in me. This isn’t just a diet, it’s a lifestyle change that I am happy to make.
Focusing on nutrition
Don’t get me wrong this was hard. Adjusting to everything and figuring out what you are doing is rough. But I’m so happy I stuck to it. I had some crazy things going on in my life, and this challenge truly kept me on track and gave me something to focus on. I have never been this happy with myself - not just how I look, but proving I have the discipline to do this. Can’t wait to see how my performance in the gym is!
I truly couldn’t have done this without the support of Coach Kat. She was the most incredible coach! She answered every single question I had and explained everything in full, so that I truly understood. I feel like with everything she taught me, I can continue this on my own and understand what I am doing.
This challenge is one of the best things I could have done for myself, and I am excited to continue this new lifestyle with everything I learned.
